Marcus Williams is the Founder and
Program Director of the Pick N Roll
Basketball Foundation. Marcus was born
and raised in Los Angeles and played on
the 1985-86 State Champion Crenshaw
High School Cougars basketball team.
Prior to playing high school basketball,
Marcus played traveling basketball with
the LA Watts Magicians, Westside Blazers,
and L.A. Rockfish traveling basketball
teams. Marcus is an alumnus of Santa
Monica Community College, and played
basketball for both Santa Monica College
and St. Martin’s College in Lacy,
Washington. Marcus graduated from California
State University Dominguez Hills with a B.A. in
Kinesiology/Physical Education, and M.A. in
Physical Education Administration, and
currently works as a middle school Physical
Education teacher in South Central Los
Angeles.
